Chapter 1
The most exciting thing in my life was about to happen. I sat backstage of the Cleo junior singing stars auditorium. I was amazed by the voices of these girls. They were all older than me.... That gave them an advantage. When they called my name I took deep breaths and stepped out onto the stage and adjusted the microphone. The music started to play, and I started to sing.
I wouldn't wanna be anybody else.

When I finished the last note everything was quiet. Then slowly, everybody began to applaud.
I went backstage and sat down... waiting for the winners to be called. After the last contestent sang, the judges called everyone out to the stage. A few people were eliminated... then a few more. Finally, there were 4 standing. "And the 3rd place winner is.......... Sally Munrow!" I was dazed.... I was 2nd place winner.... I had to be... I couldn't win this whole thing. As Sally got her trophey and $100, I sat there thinking to myself. " And Finally.... the Cleo Junior Singing Star 2008 is................................................................................................................... Everyone cheered. I couldn't believe I'd won. Suddenly roses were falling all around me. People cheered. I had won. I had won. I have won the Cleo Junior Singing Stars 2008! Somebody handed me a tiara, trophy and &1,000 check. I put the tiara on my head. Flowers were thrown at me from somewhere in the audience. I picked them up and put them in the trophy.
After, there was a celebration party. I was ushered to the stage and people took pictures of me. Sombody from the newspaper came to interveiw me. Somebody asked me to sing another song. "Yeah!!! Do it!!!" " We love you!!" people agreed.
So I had no choice but to sing another song.

Chapter 2
.......I woke up from my dream.
It was the day of the Cleo Junior Singing starz competion. I slid out of bed and put on some clothes. The rules of the competion were that we had to get ready there. When I got to the kitchen, mom had already made me breakfast. I sat down to eat. I was really nervous, I couldn't get much in my stomache, so I just ate a little and went to pack my bag. I got my good-luch charm -- A rock my best friend had carved into a star -- and put it in my pocket, then I brushed my teeth and put a pack of gum in my bag, and all my mom's makeup. I grabbed my shoes out of the closet and put them in the bag, and then got my hairbrush and dress. When I got to the kitchen, mom asked if I had everything and double checked. "The curling iron" She went into the other room and came out with a curling iron..............
The building was HUGE. The biggest building I had ever seen. Inside, we signed in, and got assigned a dressing room. My sisters all marveled at the decorations while I put my dress and shoes on. They were both a light pink, with gold accents. The shoes were high-heeled sandals covered in pink beeds. After, my mom curled my hair, and re-drew my face, while I chewed a piece of gum. I got my goodluck charm and put it in the pocket of my sweater-- which was black -- and I went backstage while my family went to their seats.
Chapter 3
When it was my turn, I stepped onto the stage, and the music started.

Everything went just like my dream from then on. I couldn't believe I won! Reporters showed up, and I got spots on a whole bunch of shows and cafe's.
